Excited to give these guys 5 stars. Got them by word of mouth. Had new wood laced to old and they finished it all to a lighter color, and they nailed it! I do most of my own remodeling, but this is SO MUCH WORK! It takes special equipment & experience to do it right. It gets dusty, but they did a good job of taping off and cleaning up after. I recommend you leave the house for this level of project. Come back to beautiful floors!

I had the best experience with Footprints Floors! I was so nervous taking on a new project. But Floyd and his team made everything so easy. All of my questions were answered from beginning to end. My biggest concern was how I was going to move the big pieces of furniture. But it was no problem for my installers, Roger and Andrew. Not only did they move the furniture with care, but they put it back in the exact same place it was. They were awesome! Very professional, respectful and thorough. I thought it would take at least two days to complete three rooms, but they were done in just five hours! AND… they cleaned up all of their work and left the house looking picture perfect. Joseph at Footprints Floors is exactly how you hope contracted work gets done, but so rarely does. He provided a fair price, team was ready in a week and start to finish in just 4 days. If every contractor performed like this I would do a lot more to our home. Great work!

This company did a beautiful job refinishing original 1962 flooring that had been carpeted for 60+ years! And, to me, the most important part of a home improvement project is the customer service which, in this case, was phenomenal! Adam was on site nearly every day checking with the crew and with me. The crew was also excellent and showed me daily progress and steps taken each day or next steps. We had our oak hardwood floor in kitchen and dining room refinished. From first estimate with Mark to final inspection with Eric, everything went very well and the result is beautiful light oak floors, no more of the 1990's orange tint oak. The only bad news is now I wish I could as easily fix/change all the orange-y oak kitchen cabinetry too. ; ) Pedro and Josue did a great job and the way they hung plastic sheeting to minimize dust floating around was much better than I expected. I thought they were just going to throw plastic tarps over the furniture, but they were able to completely seal off an adjoining room and they covered all kitchen cabinets too from floor to ceiling. We had moved our refrigerator and range out of the room to make their job easier, but they were concerned we might harm the floor when we would move them back ourselves later, so they helped us put them back in place at the right time during the process, so the new floor finish would not be rubbed or scratched. Thanks to the whole team for a job well done!

We felt the price was a little bit high, but the crew that came did a wonderful job and we're very happy with the result. Our kitchen floor looks great and they paid a lot of attention to detail.

After a few scheduling delays, the installation team arrived bright and early. Installation time was shorter than we had anticipated. Installation was clean and we are incredibly happy with our floors.

Footprints Floors did an amazing job refinishing our hardwood floors! The floor had an outdated yellow stain and lots of scratches. The floor looks brand new and they put a whitener that made floor look much more updated with a natural look. They were very professional and the project was completed on time. I believe this helped me sell my house quickly as it made our 20 year old floors look new again.

We had a great experience with Tony and his team! Footprints installed engineered handwood throughout our main floor and tiled the entryway. Transitions look seemless and level, which is an achievement in a 1970s house that has settled. Tony went above and beyond to help us source the exact flooring product we wanted and even found matching oak baseboards and registers. He was extremely professional and responsive. Tony & his crew replaced our poorly installed LVP with a beautiful alternative. He was very communicative and sent us photos of their progress while we were away during the installation. The new floor looks great and we have received many compliments on how much nicer it looks. His pricing was fair and working with him was generally stress-free. It did take a long time to schedule someone to come out to address a follow up issue with a board that had a manufacturing defect, but overall the experience was good.

Gary's crew was prompt and did great work. Was not aware of an extra charge for using credit card and was reimbursed for that. I do recommend this company!

Free estimate on Thursday, and by Tuesday morning, completely removed the damaged floor, and replaced in within a few hours. They were communicative, up from, and honest. I got three quotes, and they were priced reasonably, and were the most professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone, and will use the for the next flooring project.

We had a wonderful experience with Footprints Floors of Plainfield & Joliet! From the very beginning, Alissa and her team were a pleasure to work with. They replaced the flooring throughout our new home before we moved in, and everything stayed right on schedule. Your company did our flooring few weeks ago. This guys came in the morning and by 6:30 pm they completed their job on the entire upstairs (removing carpet and installing LVP) for 1300 sq ft. They did an amazing job for a great price and by evening our upstairs looked like it always had the lvp. They moved the furniture and took away the carpet. It is my pleasure to recommend you guys. I used Footprints June 2026 to install wood flooring on four different areas: one large room to replace carpet, one medium sized room to replace existing older wood, one closet to replace carpet and one small area by a patio door to repair water damaged, existing wood from ten year old prior installation of a different wood type. Footprints completed all four areas ahead of schedule with high quality. Very satisfied with price, quality and professionalism. Would recommend and use them again myself if needed.

Every aspect of our experience with Footprint Floors was professional and exceptional. They made the initial appointment, called us to confirm and provided a 30 minute out warning before arriving. I'll start with the bottom line: Would we hire Footprints Floors again? Absolutely. Matt, Brian, and their team checked every box. Most importantly the quality was terrific. Add to that they were competitively priced, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient enough to answer every question and address any concerns. What stood out to me most was that he didn’t just talk about flooring in general—he explained how the flooring would perform in my home, including how it would react to the amount of light from my west-facing windows. I highly recommend them. I had a last-minute situation that needed to be taken care of within 48 hours and they were able to accomplish installing brand new floors giving me the quote. Fantastic service! Attentive. Responsive. Positive attitude. Excellent installers. I have ZERO negative feedback on Aaron, and his exceptional installer, Santos. So far, they have completed the LVTiles in our main living area and our staircase. I threw them for a loop with my choice of riser material and nosing- and they stepped up to the challenge and exceeded our expectations. I never heard a single negative thought expressed, which seems to be rare in this industry! The staircase was completed yesterday and TODAY it withstood a huge test. The appliances were delivered. There were hand trucks and massive delivery guys going up and down the unprotected staircase. You would never know they were there. I will include a photo. As soon as the ceiling is textured and painted, I will add photos of the flooring. I cannot thank you enough, Aaron!

So professional .... no pressure or "up-selling".
