I used the “Thumbtack” app to find this business - as I was searching for someone to install tile backsplash in my kitchen. The business messaged me back on the app - which I missed - so they followed up with a phone call (which I appreciated). I spoke to someone named… Kyle… I think… to schedule my in home quote. He set me up with someone named Austin who was to come out the next day. The day of the scheduled quote - Austin text first thing saying he had a personal situation to deal with and asked if we could reschedule - which was totally fine. So, we reschedule for the following Tuesday at noon (I had to move my work schedule around to accommodate this appointment, but was okay doing so because I want to get the tile up). I text and called Austin (at the number he text me from the previous week) the morning of the rescheduled appointment to confirm - but I never heard back. Around 12:30 (because he was due at noon), I decided to call the business phone number listed in the Thumbtack app to see if anyone could get me an update on Austin’s ETA. When I called this time, I spoke to Kyle again, I believe (sorry if I’m getting the name wrong). Kyle had no record of my rescheduled appointment - and suggested I try to contact Austin myself. I let him know I already tried that - with no success. He (Kyle) said he’d try to contact him and get back to me. I never heard back after that (two days ago). All in all, I’m on the search for another business to help install - but just wanted to share my experience here so others could be informed of the lack of professionalism and follow up from this company. To the business - I appreciate that you all do free in home quotes (that’s very helpful for someone needing work done) - it just is unfortunate that you chose to ghost a potential customer. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. Update (5/9 @ 11:30am): just spoke to the owner of the business who was unaware of the above mentioned situation. I appreciate the call and explanation. He offered to come out and personally do an estimate for us - so we will be proceeding with that plan. Again, thank you for the call and making it right - that means a lot. Also, Austin called to rectify the situation as well - which was unexpected but really appreciated. Overall after we get through the estimate process and come to a conclusion, I’m happy to update the overall rating. Update (5/14): Josh came out and did an estimate for us. I appreciate the quick turnaround and attention to the initial issue. All in all, the quote was higher than I anticipated (more than I paid for the tile itself) - and I’m sure this will be a similar story regardless of who gives the quote, so nothing against this business (I understand time and labor costs have to be accounted for). Footprint Floors did a great job on our sanding and staining of pine floors. We had some water damage in one area, where the they had to be replaced. They took our dark finished to a lighter finish and I’m completely happy with the final product. They were very knowledgeable and could explain water versus oil base with the pros and cons of each. Saul always communicated with us on the timeline and followed through with what he said he would do. The workers were very courteous and easy to work with. Footprint Floors done an amazing job on my hardwood floors in two bedrooms downstairs. From beginning to end, Saul provided a high level of customer service. He was prompt in replying to the initial request and was patient when an issue arose in which we had to delay the project start time two months. The installation crew was professional! They covered up the existing hardwood floors and put plastic up to protect the furniture. Once that was done the work began. All went smoothly, Saul was either on-site or checking in by text or phone call. I love my floors and will definitely use them when I refinish my “older” floors.

The Foot Prints company did an excellent job. They came out and gave us a price and within a few days began on our back splash and then a couple of days later started on refinishing our floor. They did an excellent job. They kept their word on price, start date of project, and finish date of project. Also, never left a mess in our home. I had a broken shower pan in a second floor bathroom that was leaking to the living room on the first floor. I called Footprints in and they assessed the problem and gave me several options to move forward. I chose to redo the entire shower stall. Scheduling was easy and fast. The work took a week and I was in the loop on progress and next steps throughout the project. The installation and attention to detail were spectacular on the final tile install. Any issues were brought to my attention immediately and rectified in an agreed manner. I could not be happier with my new shower. It has elevated my bathroom and is really just beautiful! I’ll start with saying I don’t leave reviews much if ever. But if you are looking for advice on this company I say they are solid. Started with having the hardwood floors expanded into the kitchen. They matched the existing perfectly and stained the entire house so they were all one color. Turned out amazing! Then decided to have them replace all the baseboards and now the space is completely transformed. Saul was great managing the process the entire time as well as other members of his team. I had a pretty unique job to do. I had a newly installed staircase that had to be stained. I had three companies give me a quote and Footprints turned out to be the only one that provided me a quote based on the actual work that they needed to do. Unfinished stairs are a complete different situation than old stairs that need to be sanded and redone. Footprints was the only company to understand that and give me a price that was fair. Rodrigo came and really listened to what I was looking for in a color, I didn’t want to match my existing red oak wood floor; I wanted to complement it. After i picked 3 different stains to try, Rodrigo came up with a color that really worked. He was quick and thorough and I really like the way it came out. When I decide to do all my wood flooring I will not hesitate to call Footprints Flooring.

I’ve used Footprints Floors several times. I was at ease from the initial estimate to meeting the foreman and crew they are transparent about costs and expectations. They arrived on time, did exactly what they promised and didn’t go over budget. They are highly skilled and their work is meticulous. They completed the job early, which I was not expecting, and was given the gift of time. Hands-down they are the best. If you don’t hire them, you’ll never know what you’re missing. From the initial meeting with Gayle to the finished job with project manager Saul, our kitchen floors and our entire house was transformed beautifully. We purchased our flooring and they had it delivered and began work the next day. The kitchen and dining room was first with tear out and all new tile. The job was done quickly and looked wonderful. A few days later, the crew, led by Miguel, began upstairs. They moved the furniture, ripped out carpet, and finished the upstairs in ONE day. The next day they did the lower level including the task of removing some seriously difficult and stubborn old wood flooring. The job was also done in one day. The third day was just clean up and the little things... Saul kept in touch the entire time. Footprints 👣 I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. No need for additional bids.

I used the “Thumbtack” app to find this business - as I was searching for someone to install tile backsplash in my kitchen. The business messaged me back on the app - which I missed - so they followed up with a phone call (which I appreciated). I spoke to someone named… Kyle… I think… to schedule my in home quote. He set me up with someone named Austin who was to come out the next day. The day of the scheduled quote - Austin text first thing saying he had a personal situation to deal with and asked if we could reschedule - which was totally fine. So, we reschedule for the following Tuesday at noon (I had to move my work schedule around to accommodate this appointment, but was okay doing so because I want to get the tile up). I text and called Austin (at the number he text me from the previous week) the morning of the rescheduled appointment to confirm - but I never heard back. Around 12:30 (because he was due at noon), I decided to call the business phone number listed in the Thumbtack app to see if anyone could get me an update on Austin’s ETA. When I called this time, I spoke to Kyle again, I believe (sorry if I’m getting the name wrong). Kyle had no record of my rescheduled appointment - and suggested I try to contact Austin myself. I let him know I already tried that - with no success. He (Kyle) said he’d try to contact him and get back to me. I never heard back after that (two days ago). All in all, I’m on the search for another business to help install - but just wanted to share my experience here so others could be informed of the lack of professionalism and follow up from this company. To the business - I appreciate that you all do free in home quotes (that’s very helpful for someone needing work done) - it just is unfortunate that you chose to ghost a potential customer. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. Update (5/9 @ 11:30am): just spoke to the owner of the business who was unaware of the above mentioned situation. I appreciate the call and explanation. He offered to come out and personally do an estimate for us - so we will be proceeding with that plan. Again, thank you for the call and making it right - that means a lot. Also, Austin called to rectify the situation as well - which was unexpected but really appreciated. Overall after we get through the estimate process and come to a conclusion, I’m happy to update the overall rating. Update (5/14): Josh came out and did an estimate for us. I appreciate the quick turnaround and attention to the initial issue. All in all, the quote was higher than I anticipated (more than I paid for the tile itself) - and I’m sure this will be a similar story regardless of who gives the quote, so nothing against this business (I understand time and labor costs have to be accounted for). Footprint Floors did a great job on our sanding and staining of pine floors. We had some water damage in one area, where the they had to be replaced. They took our dark finished to a lighter finish and I’m completely happy with the final product. They were very knowledgeable and could explain water versus oil base with the pros and cons of each. Saul always communicated with us on the timeline and followed through with what he said he would do. The workers were very courteous and easy to work with.
