Mike and his crew were excellent to work from start to finish with our project of converting our home from carpet to hardwood. Mike had great recommendations for all aspects of our project and shared ideas we didn't even know existed for our stairs. Excellent work and very clean throughout the entire process and never felt pressured to spend more money than we needed...Would recommend Footprints to anyone for flooring needs!

Can’t recommend Footprint Floors enough. Mike came out quickly to provide an estimate for backsplash in our kitchen and got us in asap for installation. When my wife and I decide to refinish the wooden floor last Ictiber if 2023, we google it to look for the vendors and find the pricing and timing. One of the vendors caught my attention is that lead time and the hours to get it done is longer for our 1100 square feet wooden floor than the others which are shorter. The company name is Footprints of NE Ohio. I took a chance to pick this company on Nov 13,2023 and arranged to get it started on Jan 24,this year. They did show up on time and start to strip the floor the first day. They did remove refrigerator, range/oven and piano to get every corner that have wooden floor. Every day the owner Mike show up and make sure the work is done smoothly and correctly. After two weeks of meticulous and detailed work, it finally done on Feb 6. The wooden floor is fabulous, so beautiful and look like a new wooden floor we just installed. The workmanship is fantastic and owner mike’s devotion to customer satisfaction is admirable. I am very happy to choose the right company and would recommend very highly of their work. Needless to say I would give 5 star rating for this review.

Mike and his team completely refinished the floors in our house (1047 square feet) over the last two weeks (yes, during the holidays!). Our results are nothing short of stunning! The original floors are 55 years old and while they were in good condition we wanted them to be refinished. Mike kept my sister and I in the loop of what was going on every day (I live in Florida and the house and my sister is in Ohio) and he sent me frequent pictures of the progress. If there was a question of how to proceed, he was quick to ask and have it resolved without any work related delays. The attention to detail shown by the staff was amazing! The results far exceeded what I expected but the level of customer service that was provided throughout the process was priceless considering I was 1000 miles away. I highly recommend Footprint Floors of Northeast Ohio for all of your flooring needs. To be fair, once we contacted Mike, we had to wait to be scheduled but the wait was well worth it. While our wait was only a few weeks, after having seen the quality of the end product and the amount of care and service Mike provides, I would recommend anyone considering Footprints Floors of Northeast Ohio wait whatever amount of time is required to be scheduled. We have used Mike Goff and Footprints Floors twice now, first for a luxury vinyl plank floor on our lower level, and just recently for a complete hardwood floor refinish in the rest of the house. He and his crew have been nothing but professional, thorough, friendly, and holding themselves to a high standard of quality. For floors over 60 years old they look like they were put in yesterday. After getting quotes for refinishing my distressed hardwood floors from a few contractors, including one who wanted to cover the whole thing with laminate, I ended up going with Footprint Floors. I would HIGHLY recommend Footprint Floors. I had a dishwasher that leaked causing the engineered hardwood to buckle in front of it. They responded to my request for a repair estimate quickly. Mike the owner was able to repair it at a very reasonable price and was able to do the repair the same day he came out to take a look at it. He is a great guy, very pleasant to work with. Mike and his son finished a project for me and it came out wonderful. I was stuck because my other contractor couldn't help me and needed my floors completed within a week. Mike came out on a Tuesday and had the job completed by that Saturday. Great company to work with. I highly recommend.

I would like to rec amend this company My work was started when they said it would be and completed when they said it would be no mess was left it was cleaned up and I am very happy with the work that was done. Bathroom floor was nasty thy had to cut the old floor and replace it

The reason I did not use this business is because they work on hardwood floors, and not laminate. However, Mike was awesome he gave me some solutions to fix my floor. He is awesome , He had great follow thru, and communication. I would highly recommend him and his company.

There were areas that I thought would not be able to be fixed but they did! They are the ultimate professionals and very easy to talk to. Footprints Floorings is an excellent company for all your flooring projects. When Mike came to my home for an estimate, he took off his shoes before entering my house. That may seem like a minor detail, but I appreciated his respect for my home. There was constant communication and professionalism. I highly recommend this company for your flooring needs.

I highly recommend Mike Goff of Footprints Floor. He responded quickly to my request for an estimate. I called quite a few businesses. Many did not respond and a couple gave estimates without seeing the job. Mike came to the house, explained the process and gave the best estimate. Phase 1 of the work was completed today. Tyler, who installed the luxury vinyl was also professional, competent and friendly. He mentioned how great it was working for Mike, which is awesome to hear. We want to use businesses that treat their people well. Mike communicated every step of the way and stopped back after Tyler had left to haul debris and check work. We have a phase 2 of refinishing red oak floors after a kitchen remodel. We are looking forward to working with Mike again. He is top notch, professional, competent and thoughtful. I will only be dealing with Mike and Footprints Floors for any future jobs.

They updated us regularly on the progress and helped create a custom stain that we absolutely loved to coordinate with our kitchen cabinets and the main staircase.
